122) Even though Lawrence tries to convince Sarah to give up Little Bee to the police, she selflessly allows Little Bee to stay no matter the cost to her, because of her human obligation. Sarah's decisions that help a Nigerian refugee she doesn't know are acts of selflessness, and save not only Little Bee but herself. After Little Bee is deported to Nigeria because of Lawrence, she is finally confronted by oil company mercenaries. Little Bee realizes that in order to save Charlie, she must give herself up.
