Dubois were the three major political figures who helped people to believe in freedom for African Americans and made the Harlem Renaissance known. During this time period African Americans progressed a great deal, many National Associations were created including The Associated Negro Press.
The automobile really changed the way people lived in the 1920’s. Henry Ford’s creation of the automobile and the assembly line was the backbone of the American economy. It modified the American landscape and American’s society, and it was only one of several factors in the country’s business boom. It really benefitted people and the way they lived their lives, it gave younger people and women the opportunity to be more independent and rural families could now travel to the city for shopping and entertainment.
