Movie: Anna And The King

This movie was excellent! Since recently completing Humanities 1, it has helped me to understand the meaning of art. In doing so I learned to appreciate some of the most beautiful artistic styles in time. Humanities has also bought forth some clarity for me, in understanding why and how different types architecture styles of the pass and present were constructed and how those styles have effected modern society.

Buddhism. Buddhism is a complex set of beliefs built around teaching of a single man. The king had told the Siamese people that he had a vision, and this vision was of a white elephant. Supposedly, Buddha showed this white elephant to him threw a vision to modernize Siam.
