My Dogs are My Family

I have two pittbulls, which I have raised and cared for since they were Six weeks old. I wake up and let them out every morning and feed them their breakfast, while I eat mine. I have a routine that without my dogs would not make any sense to me. Having my two dogs gives me a sense of purpose every day and a connection to that companionship we share. I and my two dogs have developed a deep bond that is trusting and loving, with a very devoted sense of dedication to each other, we care for each other and they would give their lives for me.

My dogs will give their lives for me, or at my hands because of their devotion to me as their owner, but could also turn on an abusive owner. In January I almost lost one because she tried to stop a burglar in my house while I was asleep and he almost beat her to death. Now every day since them abuse she took she will not go more than Three feet or so from me and if she cannot see me she starts to search for me and is scared till she finds me, because the abuse changed her dramatically. Dogs depend on us as their owners to Love them and need us to show them that love, not abuse.
