My First Ever Live Concert Experience

Without warning, the lights went dark. This was the moment I had been waiting for! My adrenaline went though the roof! The time had finally come that I would get to witness my first ever live concert.

Many of my lifeâ€™s monumental moments have been moments that I would never even picture happening, things that still give me chills when I think about them, even If they happened years, months or days ago. One of these moments is of me standing in the middle of an arena in abu dhabi, on new yearâ€™s eve, in a crowd of 25000 people. Better yet, the music of a live Coldplay concert was penetrating my ears and I couldnâ€™t be more ecstatic.

with the hits, predictably yellow for the song â€˜yellowâ€™. The lights and their spectacle were really the fifth member of the band, but while the show was doused in lights, it never took away from the performance for a minute.

The countdown for the new year began and as soon as the clock hit 12, breathtaking fireworks blazed into the sky and the energy of the crowd was even higher than at the starting of the show. The band performed the long awaited song, â€˜sky full of starsâ€™ which ever single person knew the lyrics to. Broad smiles were plastered on everyoneâ€™s faces as they swayed to the music, lost int the moment with not a care in the world. Unfortunately the night came to an end and the show finished with a phenomenal performance of â€˜up and upâ€™.
