I switched schools in grade seven from an all girls private school because I had discovered I wanted to go to school with boys. Growing up I was always awkward looking, braces, overweight, my hair was orange after a horrible attempt to die it blonde, I guess when you go to school with girls, looks don't matter. However, New Central School would have something in store that I could never have predicted. Bitchy girls. the most wonderful birthday surprise ever, considering my two friends had to work on it every Friday after school and I couldn't be there obviously, otherwise where would the surprise factor be?
For Fridays and Fridays on end we would carpool home and my two girl friends would work on my birthday surprise all weekend while I was at home wondering what it could be. It must be great since it is taking so long! Around three months later after working on my surprise for so long my birthday was finally arriving. On June 11th my older brother took me shopping at the mall, I bought a few things and was pleased, and to my surprise when I came home the whole class of seventh grade was hidden in my furniture awaiting my arrival.
