Nat(Nathanial) Turner was an enslaved African American who led a rebellion of slaves and blacks back in the early 1800’s. Nat Turner was born on 0ctober 2, 1800 in Southampton County, Virginia he was born into slavery. As a child, he was bought and sold as a slave, sold three times and hired out to John Travis. He became a preacher at a young age. Turner thought to have some special talent because he could describe and tell things that happened before he was even brought into the world.
