The ultimate reality upon our existence is that Christianity is misconstrued, in that life should be looked at for the realism in which it really is. Meaning, do not look at "God," or some kind of other "soul" to find your meaning and what the meaning of life is. If one accepts the fact that there is no God or higher power, and places their beliefs only in themselves, then they can live life the way they want, not in fear of disapproval from a supernatural being. Nietzsche was a firm believer in nihilism, which is the belief that all values are baseless and that nothing can be known or communicated (Pratt). It is often associated with extreme pessimism and a radical skepticism that condemns existence (Pratt). Nietzsche used nihilism as his explanation for life and wrote in his book, Will to Power, "[E]very belief, every considering something - true is necessarily false because there is simply no true world". Simply put, Nietzsche is shooting down all ideas that the world actually exists and that we are put on this world for a purpose as an anti-realist about mortality (Leiter).
