Our Town is a play written by Thornton Wilder that has come to be an American classic. The play is simple yet it has a really deep message for the audience to take after watching or reading it. It lets the audience experience the turn of the century New England in the 1900’s. Through out the acts, the stage manager reveals to the audience the changes that Grover’s Corner has gone through over the years. For example, the population starts to increase, horses slowly become obsolete, and the adolescent characters’ marriage.
