The world of nursing has many ethical issues. One of these close to me is palliative care. The type of care given to a patient and their family during the final days of ones life. Many registered nurses (RN) seem to not think about what if they or their loved one was the patient. Many nurses when caring for a patient that seems to be in a vegatative state do not speak to the patient. They may talk to someone in the room helping them but not the patient.
