For years, college football programs have been taking advantage of their student-athletes. While these athletes pour their heart and soul into their respective programs, the majority of their schools are robbing them blind. The universities constantly turn a profit from selling the likenesses of these players, yet the players never see a penny. While they should not be compensated simply for attending school and playing a game, they should be rewarded for any money their university makes from their likenesses. The players themselves are becoming more aware of the injustice they are facing from their respective universities, and are beginning to file lawsuits against the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). In order to avoid any further problems, a change needs to be made by the NCAA.
