from such a dedicated religious family, myself, I have been taught of karma (the concept of actions leading to consequences of a positive or negative effect) and to follow my dharma (personal duties). These values are ones I bring to the table not only in school, but also in the everyday, yet unnoticeable decisions I make. While I like to uphold myself to a high set of morals, I have also been raised to never judge a person, no matter his/her background and past. Thus I am always willing to help and support someone in need, regardless of the situation at hand. After all, there are always two sides to a story.

With all of that in mind, I know I will be able to bring a lot from my diverse, family-oriented background to the Law School’s student body.
