It seems like political activism is a popular fad that is sweeping the globe, from students of America to the ones of Pakistan, a viral wildfire that is spreading through a medium whose true power has yet to be harnessed. Traditional politics paint the efforts of the youth as useless and a social trend, as supposed vanity sites like Facebook and MySpace are cited as the origin of several of these political youth groups. A quality often absent in the political world, age has become the platform upon which students have formed base, as the up and coming generation that will be most affected by this next election. Their mark in society is becoming unmistakable.
