Proper Mountain Biking Etiquette

There is no such thing as being a good mountain biker unless you have proper etiquette. To have proper etiquette means; help take care of the trail, be courteous to other people on the trail, be safe, and still have fun. The trail would be trashed, and possibly people could die because of bad etiquette. One of the successions to good riding is good etiquette. If you are nice to the rider, then the rider will be nice to the hiker. Biking etiquette is a lot like surf, or skate etiquette or daily life.

and I hit the landing with my front tire and over the handle bars I went. My chest hit the bars as I went over and landed in the dirt and lay their for a minute or two, so I could catch my breath. I was pissed off about falling but fixed the landing by sliding some dirt over so other people would not stack on there face. If the person who fell before me had fixed the landing when the fell, then I would not had fallen and would have landed perfectly. Broken branch’s can cause lots of pain. If you hit a tree and a branch, falls on the trail then simply move it off to the side. If you ride a specific, trail more then others; help build new jumps, burms, log drops, and north shores (a wood platform that is elevated off the ground for riders that are more expert) to help make the trail more fun.
