Relationship Between Kids And Parents In Romeo And Juliet

The play Romeo and Juliet is very different from life today, especially with the relationships of children and parents. The relationship with Romeo and his parents, and the relationship with Juliet and her parents is different and similar to the relationships between parents and kids in our lives today.
The relationships are different because in Shakespeare’s time marriages were arranged and the parents didn’t even support or be there for their kids. When Juliet was very young she wasn’t even breast fed by her mother. She was breast fed by the Nurse. The Nurse was really the mother figure for Juliet her whole life.
