There is an overwhelming wave of emotions that are beginning to hit the younger generation earlier then expected. There are teenagers that are in relationships five years and running. Relationships that will either end with heart break and cause someone to never be the same again or something even worse. A promise ring is a promise of engagement, “engaged to be engaged.” A promise stands for all the love and compassion of engagement and commitment with out all the, “you’re to young” and “you don’t have enough money,” from your peers. A way for teenagers to show how much they care with out getting in too deep.
