In his book the BFG, it is full of excitement and suspense to attract the readers. Roald Dahl takes advantage in the fact the children like to read fresh stories which are different from average stories. His does thins his the BFG by coming up with interesting names and ways of describing things. Roald Dahl also makes the reader psychologically part of the story which keeps the reader wanting to read more. For example, in the BFG, Dahl has made a right choice in making a young girl living in the orphanage as the main character of the story as this makes the reader feel more ‘at home’ with the character.
