On March 16, 2012, President Obama issued an executive order entitled, "NATIONAL DEFENSE RESOURCES PREPAREDNESS." This order states that the president has the power to take over all resources in the nation if it is done to "promote the national defense." This is forcing many farmers to keep their livestock more tightly contained, purchase mechanized feeding devices, hormone and anti-biotic injected feed, and many new devices for legal purposes.
