was motivated to study the topic on serial killers, as I was curious about how and why they became murderers. I was intrigued by how humans who live under the same laws and how people living in the same area can mature into completely different personalities. I understand that everybody is different and have different ways of processing things but the difference was so significant that I found the need to investigate this further. My question is `To what extent are causes of serial killing behaviour environmental?' and I chose this question because I was always interested in criminology and writing this essay; I have learnt many things such as the fact that people can be born with the potential of becoming a serial killer.
