On top of that there is always the ongoing risk of injury from broken bones to the possibility of a minor to severe brain injury resulting from extensive hits to the head. like crashing into someone else at full speed then helping each other up and saying, “see you next play”. There's really no other feeling that compares to it. Like the butterflies in your stomach before a game or the feeling after the game when you win. Or when you lose and just want to get back out there and practice so you can improve for the next time.
