Sports today play a large role in our society. I believe this is because sports reflect many parts of real life that people can relate to such as leadership, glory, and heartache but still have the competitive flair people love. knew how to play the game, but also what it takes to be a leader. This year, my senior year, it was my turn. I was voted captain of the team by my fellow teammates and given the opportunity to learn how to lead. I have learned it is not an easy thing.
