I’ve been put into several situations were I’ve had to battle back and forth with what I knew was right (nature) and my feelings. One example of those situations would be when my sister snuck out from the house to go party. I knew she was on restriction and that she just wanted to have a little fun, but I also knew that she’d stayed out well past the time that the party ended. She worried me to death by not being home on time. I didn’t know what trouble she may have gotten herself into during that time period. My parents later asked me if I had seen her leave while they were asleep. I knew I had to put my feelings for her aside and tell the truth, because it was in her best interest.
