One of my biggest problems in life has been stress and the way it affects my life. I seem to always put off starting and/or maintaining exercise routines and proper dieting by letting stress take over and just giving up and saying to myself: I will just start again next week, which in return tells me to go ahead and eat the foods that I should not be eating such as doughnuts, fast food, cakes, etc., because next week I will be sticking to my new diet and exercise routine. in shape, I just end of feeling miserable as compared to just sticking with a good routine and being happy overall with myself and the way I feel. I hate wearing tight jeans and tend to wear shirts that are not tucked in when Im overweight.
I have put together a new routine and outlined a new approach for dealing with stress in order to help me stick with a new exercise routine and diet plan, which is ultimately the only way I will only feel better about myself. The following pages are new methods of dealing with stress in my life, which Im hoping will help to get me back down to my goal weight within the next two or three months.
Even though all stress cant be avoided, eliminating the stressors in my life that are not necessary will help me significantly. If I dont voice my feelings, resentment will build up inside of myself and the situation will likely remain the same (Express your feelings instead of bottling them up). When I ask someone to change their behavior, be willing to do the same thing myself.
