The subject of sexual education in public schools is a very controversial topic in today’s society. There are several conflicting ideas pertaining as to what material should be taught to students. Some suggest that condoms be distributed in schools, to promote the idea of safe sex. On the other hand, there are those who persist that the only type of safe sex, is no sex at all. However, high school students have a tendency to oppose the opinions and beliefs held by authority figures, namely teachers and parents.
