Well, technology has been around for a long time, and will continue to be around as long as there are humans. But the question is, has technology benefited our world?
There will always be some people who defend technology, and who will try to convince us that any new technology is great. These people will tell us that technology solves problems more efficiently, creates new kinds of jobs, and that it gives us more leisure time. But also, there will always be some people who will try to convince us that we should go "back to nature". These people will tell us that technology pollutes the earth, and destroys our relationship with nature. All of these is true.

I personally disagree with the idea of adopting technology as a learning tool, because nowadays people prefer to buy online educational games, instead of books. If we are sitting in front of the screen all day, we do not learn to share, and to have a real interaction with others. I personally think, that people need to be in contact with others in order to experience new things.
In conclusion, I think that the strategy of embracing new technologies as a culture is not working, and will never works.
