Globalization, in and of itself is considered a fundamentally good thing as the collective economic, political and social reality of one modernized world community seems like the most obvious solution to many of the worlds problems and yet for the most part the opinions of researchers and social scientist revolve around the negative possibilities of globalization. According to the Canadian Government: "The term "globalization" describes the increased mobility of goods, services, labour, technology and capital throughout the world. Although globalization is not a new development, its pace has increased with the advent of new technologies, especially in the area of telecommunications." ...
