The American Dream

What is the "American Dream"? Well, I used to think it was working hard so you could get a large house, be the boss, and not work to death. Although after reading different views of the American Dream I think I have a better understanding of it than most Americans have. I think the American dream, after studying early American philosophers, has been redefined.
The first thing that I believe that is a part of the "American Dream" is our moral code. I believe that the morals in this country have kinda slipped the past centuries, this is shown when Benjamin Franklin talks up with his moral code of ethics. He states that for him: "Temperance - eat no to dullness; drink not to elevation. " ...

The way you feel when you wake up should be one of excitement, ready to see what the day will bring and how you can make it a better place, even if its just a little change.
