The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

In the novel "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" there are around three to four main themes that are very apparent throughout the novel. One of the main themes I silence and secrecy. Boyne uses certain techniques to show the true intentions of the camps that were running in that time and age.
In the first chapters the theme of secrecy comes through strong. Bruno-the main character-finds out that his and his family are going to be moving away from their current house and town. The reader learns quickly about Bruno's blindness to what goes in in his family and household. He's never entirely sure what hi fathers job exactly is yet all he knows is that "fathers ...

Through these small scenes the book the reader is able to interoperate many things about what is exactly going on at "Out With", this shows a lot about human nature itself.
