This book is based on reports customized for the national conference “Homeless Children and Youth: Coping with a National Tragedy”. The first part of the book discusses relevancy between poverty and being homeless. The second part of the book reviews more political topics such as, how our economy effect homelessness and our government systems don’t always work. The topics of how our economy and welfare systems increase the harshness of becoming and being homeless will enable me to get to the point of the consequences of being homeless and why it is hard for homeless people to get back on their feet.
