I have chosen to write about ER also known as the emergency room. The emergency room is a hospital or primary care department that provides initial treatment to patients with a broad span of illnesses and injuries. There is a vast array of personnel working in the ER including Physicians, Nurses, Physician Assistants and Surgeons, Ex-rays Technicians, Respiratory Therapists, Lab Assistants/Phlebotomist, Registration personnel. I will be touching base on some standard tools, recapping a visit, explaining some medical issues such as patient safety, medical errors you may encounter and technology of the hospitals, and lower level Hospital.
