The oldest man that I am close to is my grandfather who’s name is Albert and he just turned seventy-two. He used to own his own farm and when my dad was growing up he helped him run it. My grandfather believes very strongly in respect, and when my dad didn’t show him any he knew it and learned the hard way to always respect him. My grandfather is average height (5’ 10”) and he is in very good shape for his age. in it. My grandfather has collected a lot of stuff over the years. He also has a very old snowmobile in there and I can remember riding it when I was little. No one hardly goes in there now.
My grandfather was strict minded about disciplining his kids, as was his father with him. Now I would say my grandfather has softened up in his old age, but he still does everything that he thinks should be done, like things around the house. He is very smart and knows a lot about the woods and trees. He used to own around two hundred acres of land in Harmony, but he sold it for the money. We used to hunt up there and stayed in a little cabin. I still remember the rides up there in the countryside. And the muddy dirt road to the camp.
