not attend public schools, their rights to own land was taken away and they weren’t allowed to socialize with non-Jewish people. Ghettos were established to quarantine the Jews from the general public.
Dachau, Treblinka, Auschwitz were three of the six concentration camps that were used for the execution of Jews. At Treblinka 700,000 to over 1,000,000 people were killed. At Dachau they performed human science experiments. Some of the experiments consisted of putting Jews in freezing cold water until death or placing them in an air tight room until they suffocated. Auschwitz killed the largest amount of people. About 1,300,000 people died, 1,000,000 of which died in the gas chambers.
Something I find interesting is how a society so educated and advanced could create such a situation. Could another Holocaust such as Germanys happen in a democratic society such as the US? When a single person runs a country making it a dictatorship anything is possible. Hitler knew he had ...
