Bulimia is an eating disorder that begins with an image of what is “right” and then becomes a mental issue. People of many ages, races, ethnic backgrounds, or genders can all attribute to the bulimic population. Mainly teen-age girls suffer from bulimia, but males can also suffer from this eating disorder. With all the ultra thin models being considered the “it girl” many females are begging to struggle with their own perceptions of themselves.
