Music has been around for thousands of years. There are historical traces left of the music of ancient cultures from the Hebrews, the Babylonians, the Egyptians, the Mesopotamians, and more. Since this is so, it is safe to say that they must have all had a conscious or unconscious knowing of the psychology behind the music they were creating.
