There is not a more valuable trait in a person then the presence of a strong work ethic. A strong work ethic consists of working as hard a possible on a consistent basis in order to reach a certain goal or task. Competition in today's world is at an all time high and the only way to come out a victor is through hard work. If a person works as hard as they can in any aspect of life then success and accomplishment will follow. to give up on studying or not even study at all. That's where hard work comes into play. It is the people who possess a strong work ethic that will study at night instead of socializing with friends or participating in other activities that will not benefit the student's academic career. Even if a student puts all of his effort into studying for a class and still doesn't perform at a high level, he will at least have the satisfaction of knowing that there wasn't anything else he could have done to obtain a better grade. For the most part however, if a student studies every night and does everything that is expected out of him then success and excellence will follow. Each semester students always wonder and ask what it takes to get an A in a course and the only viable answer to this question is hard work.
