daylight ran out. After all, summer was almost over, and it would be time to park the dirt bike for the long, cold winter. I began to believe it would be an exhilarating idea to start doing donuts in my back yard. I rapidly began to whip my dirt bike around in circles not realizing that I was beginning to drift toward a water drain. All of o sudden, my rear tire grasped the water drain and caught traction. Next thing I knew, I was laying on the ground in immense agony.
“Dad, my leg, my leg hurts so badly!” These words immediately began to flow from my mouth as soon as I grasped that the peg from the dirt bike had forced its way into my calf muscle. The pain seemed unbearable as I was picked up from the ground and rushed to the hospital. I finally arrived at the hospital after what seemed like endless hours of riding in that passenger seat in misery.
