The assertion , “Those who betray Hamlet also betray themselves “ is valid to a greater considering that in the play “Hamlet , Prince of Denmark” by Shakespear there are characters, who happen to betray the protagonist , Hamlet and it also happens to be the path that leads them to delude themselves . The characters who delude Hamlet are Ophelia, King Claudius , Queen Getrude , Laertes , Rosencrantz and Guildenstern.
