Some examples of these crimes would be the Afghan prison also known as the Salt Pit where Gul Rahman froze to death. Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison where Mandel al- Jamad died while suspended from the ceiling by his wrists which were bound behind his back. Azizabad Airstrike of August 2008 in Helmand Province killing 90 civilians which many where children, and the Kandahar massacre which are just a few examples showing that we the US are also at times vicious and capable of committing such horrendous war crimes.
Salt Pit prison in Afghanistan is where Gul Rahman froze to death after being shackled to the cement floor. Reports from this prison also state the guards would humiliate, torture, rape, sodomize, and even kill detainees at times.
