How many people think or even imagine the United States of America as a whole could be considered a nation of terror? We all have seen those movies that show us prisoners being tortured and put thru hell while imprisoned during wars. These movies always show the prisoners as Americans going through all these events. Since the start of the War on Terror the United States has been involved in an ongoing war campaign against horrible terrorist, but at times we ourselves seem to look and act like terrorists. (Believe me when I say), we as Americans are also bad when it comes to war crimes and committing vicious acts such like our enemies of the past and current foes. ...

Some examples of these crimes would be the Afghan prison also known as the Salt Pit where Gul Rahman froze to death. Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison where Mandel al- Jamad died while suspended from the ceiling by his wrists which were bound behind his back. Azizabad Airstrike of August 2008 in Helmand Province killing 90 civilians which many where children, and the Kandahar massacre which are just a few examples showing that we the US are also at times vicious and capable of committing such horrendous war crimes.
Salt Pit prison in Afghanistan is where Gul Rahman froze to death after being shackled to the cement floor. Reports from this prison also state the guards would humiliate, torture, rape, sodomize, and even kill detainees at times. There is even reports where chemical lights (chem lights) where broken and the liquid inside was used by being poured onto the detainees.
