I started the research about the choice of USA entering the Vietnam War during the Cold War Period with great interest, Vietnam is geologically a remote and underdeveloped Asian country by then, with neither abundant mines nor rich natural recourses, and the government was corrupted and poor. On the contrary, the USA was very rich and was claimed as one of the most powerful country in the world since she defeated Japan with two atomic bombs in World War Two, and was regarded as one of the superpowers together with the USSR at that time. After World War 2, the USSR started to build up satellite countries, hoping to strengthen her power.
