According to Bryan Magee’s The Story of Philosophy, the great philosopher Plato makes the statement, “Let no one here enter here who is ignorant of mathematics.” Plato was an avid student to the father of modern philosophy Socrates. Plato’s words noted above however would have probably surprised anyone who knew this about him. Anyone who has had the privilege of having a profoundly brilliant teacher knows how he or she can literally change ones life.
