Learning from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning. (Albert Einstein) This quote means that as human beings we are supposed to question everything, its in our nature to question everything. To be human means to have dreams, emotions, and hope. Hope for a good future. To aspire to be the best that one could within a society that one lives. It also means that you can have a simple human connection to another person. that other party members donâ€™t have such as not constantly being under the watch of big brother, they can engage in relationships (marriage), and they donâ€™t live in constant fear of the government. They are in control of their own lives unlike the citizens. Winston also believes that the proles have retained some of their humanity that does not exist in the party members.

In 1984, the party wants to take away humanity so all thatâ€™s left is undevoted love for the party and big brother.
