In this speech made by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. he is trying to get many points across. They specifically are on people who treat black people and other races differently in the world today.
One of the first statements made was he talked about the Emancipation Proclamation and setting blacks free. Then he goes on and says “One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacle of segregation and the chains of discrimination”.
