Animal Cruelty? Or For Our Own Good?

Do you find pleasure in seeing and knowing that animals get tortured? I don't and thats why I am against animal testing. In 2004 over a million animals were tested on. i feel like animal testing is wrong because it harms the animals we care about. Would you want to put your dog or cat through that same type of pain?

Animal testing has been around for a long time. They can trace it back to 384-322 BC. It's been going on for too long. There are many organizations to try and stop all animal cruelty, The ASCPA, BAAC, KAAC the most common and the one that everybody knows about would be P.E.T.A.

and long to roam free and actually see sun and feel the sun on there fur and skin. But instead of being able to do that they suffer from stress, sometimes even such incessantly spinning in circles. Monkeys are addicted to drugs and have holes drilled into their skulls, sheep and pigs have their skin burned off, rats have their spinal cords crushed. so much more happens but it is too gruesome to state.

People in favor of animal testing would argue that animal testing helps find ways to save lives of humans and animals by testing life saving drugs on them. Also a few animals tend to react the same way like humans. Yes treatment for scarlet fever, tuberculosis, complex surgical procedures were tested 'OK' due to animal testing 'BUT!' How do people know that taking that risk that we might help humans but at the same time risking the life's of animals. they risk animal life's every time they think of new ideas.
