Introduction

Robert Durst is a multimillionaire from a family of New York's largest real estate empires, and he is a suspect of killing three people in three different states. In 1982, Durst was a suspected of killing Kathleen "Kathie" McCormack his first wife who disappeared in New York. Susan Berman, his longtime friend that might know a lot about Kathie's disappearance, was killed in 2000 in California. In 2001, Durst went to jail in Texas for the murder of his neighbor Morris Black, and later, he admitted it was self-defense. Durst charged for his death, but the jury later acquitted him this murder (Smerling, 2015).

Causes

An antisocial personality disorder is unknown, but have two factors that implicated that are environmental and genetic. Males are more likely to have this mental illness than women. People who are in prison have been found to have this mental condition. People who have a parent that are alcoholic or antisocial are at risk. A person with behaviors of animal cruelty and like to set things on fire during their childhood are most likely develop an antisocial personality.

Prevention

Preventing ASPD is challenging to keep from developing into severe risk. The antisocial behaviors begin in a childhood stage. Parents, teachers, and pediatricians may recognize early warning signs.
