Bacteria can help and harm humans in the world today.The
agricultural industry depends on the existence of bacteria that can
transform the nitrogen gas from the atmosphere into ammonia in the soil
that plants can use in a process called nitrogen fixation.Bacteria are good
for recycling because they feed on dying material and convert it back into
basic substances.Without decomposition the food chain would cease.Bacteria
also helps in the breakdown on rocks which influences the movement of key
elements,such as,sulfur,iron,phosphorus,and carbon,around the
world.Bacteria are the main digesters of cellulose within cows and other
animals.Bacteria are used in the making of dairy products.Without ...

Bacteria can also be harmful.Some bacteria cause diseases such as
Tuberculosis,Gonorrhea,Typhoid fever,Lyme disease,Gangrene,and
Endocarditis.Some of these diseases are fatal.Bacteria can also cause skin
diseases such as Dermatitis,Leprosy,and Carbuncle.Some bacterial diseases
can be controlled by antibiotics.Some of these are
Penicillins,Cephalosporin,
Aminoglycosides,Tetracyclines,Macrolides,and Sulfonamides.Though over the
years some bacterias have evolved and become immune to antibiotics making
them unstoppable.Bacteria can also pollute water,decay teeth,and can poison
food.
