CHIBA-ken

Chiba Prefecture is near the capital city of Tokyo, and is divided into four main areas. It is blessed with a lot of green and nature found in Chiba with amusement parks, temples, and other sightseeing areas. All types of fishes are caught in Chiba, since it is surrounded by three seas, and is easily caught more than other areas. But, not only are there fishes, but they have a top ranked output of many product items for fresh vegetables and fruits. Since it is near Tokyo, the population grew a lot since 1961 and still continues rises today.

Chiba Prefecture is blessed with rich nature including beautiful shorelines and green hills, and the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries industries have long been active (Foods, Welcome to Chiba). Chiba Prefecture was originally composed of three provinces; Awa, Kazusa, and Shimosa (Introduction of Chiba).
There are a total of four main areas in Chiba and they are: Tokatsu Area, Kujukuri Area, Hokuso Area, and Minami-Boso Area. The Tokatsu area has many museums and reference libraries centering on local history and climate, and improved city parks (Sightseeing Spots). It is also well known for Tokyo Disney land and various different amusement parks. The Tokatsu area consists mainly of Kujukurihama, where you can walk along and go to nearby parks and museums.
