to those in need in the town of San Juan. My abuela whose name was rose, suggested that me and my dad come visit and spend time with her the weekend before I left to go permanently live with my mom. I had been so busy with packing my things to leave and softball practice that I wasn't thinking about the tradition me and my dad had. With going every Saturday to my abuelas house for visiting and having our favorite dinner that is a mexican homemade dish called posole. Spending this time with my abuela meant everything to me, spending time with her was like my own sanctuary. She was like my bestfriend but in a parent style, we talked about any and everything.
