Conformation

Dear Archbishop O’Malley,

My name is Katherine Murphy and I attend Saint Patrick’s church in Stoneham, Ma. I am writing this letter to explain why I feel I should be confirmed and what I have done to prepare for conformation.
One reason why I want to be confirmed is because as an infant I was baptized, and over the years I have realized my duties to God and what I need to do in order to become a good Catholic. I have been going to a catholic school since I was in sixth grade and throughout the years I have learned that much more about Jesus, the Holy Spirit, heaven and God. I want to assist the church in helping to spread the word of God to others and be there for anyone who needs ...

own school as well. By going to mass I know my relationship with God is become stronger and more powerful. I also take part in community service and help those who are in need. By doing this I feel like I am doing what God and Jesus have created me to do. Another think that I have been doing is staying away from bad temptations. I do not give into peer pressure and do my best to always make good decisions. There are the reasons why I want to be confirmed and what I am doing in order to prepare myself.
