First of all, high school students need to realize that attending class is very important for a good education. When students decide not to attend class, they are very much jeopardizing their learning process. The students begin to lose the lessons learned each day in class. When a student does fall behind, and his/her grades go down, the student sometimes doesn't realize that it has a great impact on college years. In my own situation, I failed to get good grades in high school and it has showed up in my first semester in college. I had a difficult time understanding the basic concepts for the lack of not learning them in high school. I also had to study long and hard to make up for it. However, if I had attended class in high school, the material probably would have come much easier to me.
