DAP

A few months ago I participated in DAP 1 and I fell in love with the program, including the volunteers and their hands on learning methods. My favorite part of the whole experience was being able to take an idea or a design in my head, and be able to watch it come to life. I loved how we were encouraged to think outside of the box with different kinds of scenarios and being able to come up with ways to tackle any problems we came across. I got to take these skills and apply them to real life as well. DAP taught me that even after you've come up with a solution to your problem, you can always make improvements. I love the idea of using designs and ideas to better my community. By attending this session of DAP I hope to be able to learn more from the volunteers and take these lessons and use it in our assignments. The little free library seems like a great way to give to the community and see something we made actually be used in other people's lives.
